Number, Transformation, Rythme German and French
Emma Kunz and Contemporary ArtThe book and the exhibition "Zahl, Rhythmus, Wandlung Emma Kunz und Gegewartskunst" (Number, Rhythm, Change Emma Kunz and Contemporary Art) pay tribute in a special way to the work of the Swiss artist and radiesthesist Emma Kunz (1892-1963), who with her more than 400 drawings on graph paper not only expanded the space of art, but also the view of world contexts. Together with the works of twelve international contemporary artists and texts by various authors, a resonance space is created in which Emma Kunz's holistic and spiritual vision becomes clear as a contribution to current discussions. The associative network, whose coordinates are determined by fields as diverse as social theory, technology, natural history, mediality, phenomenology or cybernetics, enables cross-border experiences.
